All Algorithm Classes by Behavior and Input

Named classes of algorithm distinguished by how they execute or what they are given. It covers algorithms that run one step after another, algorithms that combine several methods, algorithms whose overall behavior emerges from simple local rules, algorithms that adjust to the data they meet, and algorithms that use predictions from a learned model alongside the input. An entry belongs here when the name describes a kind of behavior or input rather than a problem. It excludes techniques for building or checking algorithms, which have their own group.
