Core Programming Paradigms

The broad styles in which programs are organised and written. Imperative programming gives the machine explicit steps, structured programming controls those steps with blocks, branches and loops, and object-oriented programming bundles data with the functions that act on it. Functional programming builds programs by composing functions, while declarative and logic programming state what is wanted and leave the method of finding it to the language.
