All Domain-Specific Algorithm

Algorithms and algorithmic practices developed for one application domain, where the rules of the field shape the method. It covers algorithms used in financial trading, clinical decision making and the generation of art. An entry belongs here when it is known mainly by its use in a particular field and has no wider home among the general problem-based subcategories. It excludes general-purpose algorithms that merely have applications in a domain, which belong to the subcategory of their own problem type.
