Chef

Esoteric Language

Chef is an esoteric programming language created by David Morgan-Mar, designed so that program source code resembles a cooking recipe, complete with an ingredients list corresponding to program variables and a numbered method corresponding to program instructions. Chef programs are intended to be aesthetically plausible as actual recipes as well as functioning as valid source code, and the language was designed as a humorous demonstration of how far a programming language's syntax can be stylized while remaining formally executable.
