Bjarne Stroustrup is a Danish computer scientist best known for creating the C++ programming language. He led research at Bell Labs, later taught at Texas A&M University, and has been a full professor at Columbia University since 2022; his work has been foundational to object-oriented and generic programming in mainstream industrial software.
