Languages for building simulations of populations, communities and feedback systems. NetLogo and StarLogo are languages for agent-based modeling and simulation, and DYNAMO is a simulation language developed within the system dynamics framework for industrial dynamics and later extended to population, resource and urban planning studies. DYNAMO was originally for industrial dynamics but was soon extended to population and resource studies and urban planning, and StarLogo was developed at the MIT Media Lab as an extension of Logo.
