Object-Oriented Extensions and Reliability-Focused Languages

Languages that bring object-oriented programming to a base or a goal that already existed. Object Pascal is an extension of the programming language Pascal that provides object-oriented features such as classes and methods, and it was originally developed by Apple Computer as Clascal for the Lisa Workshop development system, while Eiffel was designed by Bertrand Meyer, who conceived it in 1985 with the goal of increasing the reliability of commercial software development.
