Machine Learning Algorithm

A named algorithm that learns a model or a policy from data or from experience, or that searches for a good decision by simulation and estimation rather than by an exact closed-form computation. Belongs here: Expectation Maximization Algorithm, Monte Carlo Tree Search, Naive Bayes Classifier Algorithm, Q-Learning Algorithm and Random Forest Algorithm, each defined by a learning or estimation procedure over data or simulated outcomes. Does not belong here: a general local-search optimization procedure with no learned model or data dependence, filed under Optimization Algorithm.
