Andrew Donald Booth, who lived from February 11, 1918 to November 29, 2009, was a British electrical engineer, physicist and computer scientist who was an early developer of magnetic drum memory for computers. He is known for Booth's multiplication algorithm, and in his later career in Canada became president of Lakehead University.
