Apple II is a series of microcomputers manufactured by Apple Computer from 1977 to 1993. The original model, designed by Steve Wozniak, first went on sale on June 10, 1977, and its success led to successors including the Apple II Plus, IIe, IIc and IIc Plus, with the 1983 IIe becoming the most popular of the line.
