General-Purpose Multi-Paradigm Languages

General-purpose languages that deliberately support more than one style of programming in the same program. Python supports several paradigms with an emphasis on object-oriented programming, Swift is a multi-paradigm compiled language created at Apple, and Nemerle and Dylan combine functional and object-oriented features. Python emphasizes object-oriented programming and dynamic typing, Nemerle supports functional, object-oriented, aspect-oriented, reflective and imperative programming, and Dylan is dynamic and reflective.
