Rebol and Its Successors

Rebol is a cross-platform data exchange language and a multi-paradigm dynamic language designed by Carl Sassenrath for network communication and distributed computing, and its most notable idea is dialecting, the creation of small, optimized, domain-specific languages for code and data. Red was designed to overcome the limits of Rebol and was introduced in 2011 by Nenad Rakocevic, and it is both an imperative and a functional language.
