Specialized Programming Styles

Narrower approaches to organising programs, usually used alongside a core paradigm. Event-driven and reactive programming let outside events and changing streams of data decide what runs next, aspect-oriented programming separates concerns that cut across many modules, generic programming writes algorithms in terms of types supplied later, metaprogramming treats programs as data, and concurrent programming runs several computations over overlapping periods of time.
