Pratul Srinivasan

Pratul Srinivasan is a research scientist at Google DeepMind who, with Ben Mildenhall, was a lead co-creator of Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF), a method that represents 3D scenes as differentiable neural fields to synthesize novel views from a small number of photographs. Srinivasan and Mildenhall went on to develop further radiance-field representations including Mip-NeRF, Mip-NeRF 360 and Zip-NeRF, extending the approach to richer scenes and higher-fidelity reconstructions. The pair received the ACM Grace Murray Hopper Award for pioneering neural implicit representations that transformed computer graphics and vision and underpin applications including immersive mapping and 3D commerce.
