Daniel Klein is an American computer scientist and professor of computer science at the University of California, Berkeley, whose research focuses on natural language processing and artificial intelligence. He earned degrees from Cornell University, the University of Oxford as a Marshall Scholar, and a PhD from Stanford University under Christopher D. Manning, and has received the ACM Grace Murray Hopper Award, a Sloan Research Fellowship, an NSF CAREER Award and the Microsoft New Faculty Fellowship.
