Raymond "Ray" Ozzie (born November 20, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois) is an American software industry entrepreneur best known for creating Lotus Notes, one of the first successful commercial groupware and collaboration platforms. He served as Chief Technical Officer and later Chief Software Architect at Microsoft between 2005 and 2010.
