Makoto Yokoo is a Japanese computer scientist and Distinguished Professor of Information Science and Electrical Engineering at Kyushu University, specializing in autonomous agents and multiagent systems, algorithmic game theory, market design, auction theory, and matching. He earned his bachelor's, master's, and PhD degrees from the University of Tokyo, and has served as past president of the International Foundation for Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems and as general co-chair of the 2007 AAMAS conference.
