Marie-Paule Cani (born 1965) is a French computer scientist and researcher specializing in shape modeling and computer animation. Her research focuses on implicit surfaces in graphic modeling, physics-based three-dimensional animation, interactive modeling tools and virtual worlds for scientific research. She holds a professorship at Ecole Polytechnique within the LIX laboratory and is a member of the French Academy of Sciences. She received the ACM SIGGRAPH Steven A. Coons Award in 2023 and the Eurographics Gold Medal.
