António Miguel Ferreira

António Miguel Ferreira (born September 27, 1973) is a Portuguese entrepreneur and technical author in internet and cloud computing. After a computer science engineering degree from INSA in Lyon, he founded Esoterica in 1994, described as Portugal's first private Internet service provider, which he sold in 1999, and later served as Director of European Network Services at the American internet company VIA NET.WORKS. He founded the cloud computing company Lunacloud in 2014, joined the internet services group Claranet in 2005, and became a member of its Group Executive Board and chairman of its operations in Iberia and Latin America, and between 1996 and 2015 authored ten books on web programming, internet topics and cloud computing published in Portugal and internationally through Sams Publishing.
