Richard Henry Bolt (April 22, 1911 to January 13, 2002) was an American physics professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with an interest in acoustics. He was one of the founders of Bolt, Beranek and Newman, the company that built the ARPANET, a forerunner of the Internet.
