Borka Jerman Blazic (born March 28, 1947) is a Slovenian Internet pioneer, computer networks scientist and president of the Internet Society - Slovenia. She founded and served as first general secretary of the Yugoslavian Network for the Academic and Education Community (YUNET), which introduced the first Internet services in SFR Yugoslavia in 1991. She holds a PhD from the Faculty of Informatics and Natural Sciences at the University of Zagreb and completed post-doctoral studies at Iowa State University.
