Haruhisa Ishida (October 30, 1936 to March 9, 2009) was a Japanese Internet pioneer, information scientist and university teacher. He was the head of the Japan Network Information Center and of the Japanese chapter of the Internet Society, and he served as director of the computer center at the University of Tokyo.
