Anja Feldmann

Anja Feldmann (born March 8, 1966, in Bielefeld) is a German computer scientist. She earned her degree in computer science from Paderborn University in 1990, an M.Sc. from Carnegie Mellon University in 1991 and a PhD in 1995, conducted postdoctoral research at AT&T Labs, and became a professor of Internet Network Architectures at Technische Universitat Berlin in 2006. Since October 2017 she has served as director of the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, focusing on internet architecture research. She was elected to the Leopoldina in 2009, received the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize and the Berlin Science Award in 2011, was named an ACM Fellow in 2023, received the IEEE Koji Kobayashi Computers and Communications Award in 2024, and received the Konrad Zuse Medal in 2023.
