Imrich Chlamtac is a computer scientist born in Zlate Moravce, Slovakia, where he received an Honorary Citizenship in 2015. He is president of EAI, the European Alliance for Innovation, a non-profit organization hosting conferences across the international information technology research community, and founding president of CREATE-NET.
