Sergiy Vilkomir

Sergiy A. Vilkomir (November 19, 1956 to February 9, 2020) was a Ukrainian-born computer scientist whose main research contributions were in the formalization of software testing, including reinforced condition/decision coverage, a stronger version of the modified condition/decision coverage criterion used in safety-critical systems. He worked at institutions in Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland and the United States, reached an associate professor position and headed the Software Testing Research Group at East Carolina University, and was a senior member of both the ACM and the IEEE.
