Paritosh Pandya

Paritosh K. Pandya is an Indian computer scientist based at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai, and an adjunct professor at IIT Bombay since 2020. He studied electronics at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, computer science at IIT Kanpur, and earned a PhD in computer science at Bombay University and TIFR in 1988, later researching at the Oxford University Computing Laboratory as part of the ESPRIT ProCoS project on provably correct systems. His main research interest is formal methods, including real-time systems and the Duration Calculus, and his most cited paper, on finding response times in a real-time system with Mathai Joseph, won a 2020 Test-of-Time Award.
