Jonathan Bowen is a British computer scientist and an emeritus professor at London South Bank University, whose main contribution has been in formal methods, especially the Z notation. He has also worked in museum informatics, including creating the Virtual Library museums pages, an early web directory, and has written on the history of computing, especially Alan Turing.
