Radhia Cousot, born Radhia Rezig (August 6, 1947 to May 1, 2014), was a French computer scientist known for inventing abstract interpretation, a theory of program semantics used for static program analysis, together with her husband and frequent collaborator Patrick Cousot. She earned her doctorate from the Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine in 1985, with a thesis on proof methods for the invariance and liveness of parallel programs. She received the ACM SIGPLAN Programming Languages Achievement Award and the IEEE Computer Society Harlan D. Mills Award.
