Terrence Andrew Davis (December 15, 1969 to August 11, 2018) was an American electrical engineer, computer programmer, and outsider artist best known for creating and designing TempleOS, a public-domain operating system written in a programming language he developed called HolyC. He believed he was commanded to create TempleOS as a biblical Third Temple, struggled for years with mental illness, and died after being struck by a train in 2018 at age 48.
