Michael Woodger (March 28, 1923 to July 14, 2025) was an English pioneering computer scientist who spent most of his career at the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington, London. Beginning as an assistant to Alan Turing in 1946, he played an important role in developing the Pilot ACE and full ACE computers, and later contributed to the design and documentation of the ALGOL 60 and Ada programming languages; in 2023, on his 100th birthday, he was named an Honorary Fellow of The National Museum of Computing.
