Ruth Teitelbaum, born Ruth Lichterman (1924 to 1986), was an American computer programmer and mathematician who was one of the first computer programmers in the world. She was one of six original programmers of the ENIAC, the first all electronic digital computer, working alongside Jean Bartik, Betty Holberton, Kathleen Antonelli, Marlyn Meltzer and Frances Spence at the Moore School of Electrical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. She held a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Hunter College.
