Omer Reingold

Omer Reingold is an Israeli computer scientist who holds the Rajeev Motwani professorship of computer science at Stanford University, where he directs the Simons Collaboration on the Theory of Algorithmic Fairness. He earned his PhD at the Weizmann Institute in 1998 under Moni Naor. He received the ACM Grace Murray Hopper Award in 2005 for finding a deterministic logarithmic-space algorithm for undirected graph connectivity, shared the Godel Prize in 2009 with Avi Wigderson and Salil Vadhan for their work on the zig-zag product, and became an ACM Fellow in 2014 for contributions to pseudorandomness, derandomization and cryptography.
