Usama M. Fayyad, born July 1963, is a Tunisian-born Jordanian-American data scientist and co-founder of the KDD conferences and the ACM SIGKDD association for Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining. He has spoken widely on business analytics, data mining, data science, and big data, and recently served as chief data officer at Barclays Bank.
