Home›Pioneers›Field›Computer Graphics›All Computer GraphicsBrowse ByAll Computer GraphicsThis group gathers pioneers of computing methodologies whose primary contribution was generating, rendering or manipulating visual imagery by computer, including interactive graphics systems such as Sketchpad, rendering and ray tracing techniques, texture mapping and shading, computer animation and the studios built around it, computer aided design, data driven and scientific visualization, and the graphics behind early video games. It follows the Computer graphics second level heading of the ACM Computing Classification System under Computing methodologies. Their shared work is producing a visual image from a computer model, as distinct from computer vision's task of interpreting an image that already exists.FactsAll Computer GraphicsSourcesComments (0)Reader Challenges (0)FactsComparisonEra of EmergenceWell-attested1960 1All Computer GraphicsFilter Results56 entriesBornAll1910 (1)1912 (1)1927 (2)1929 (1)1934 (2)1936 (1)1937 (1)1938 (2)1939 (2)1940 (1)1941 (1)1942 (1)1943 (1)1945 (2)1946 (2)1947 (1)1948 (4)1949 (3)1950 (1)1951 (1)1952 (2)1955 (2)1956 (1)1958 (4)1963 (2)1965 (1)1967 (2)1970 (1)1971 (1)1972 (1)1974 (1)2000 (2)ACM AreaAllAlgorithms and Complexity Theory (2)Computer Graphics (29)Computer Vision (1)Data and Information Visualization (2)Machine Learning (1)Programming Language Theory (1)Robotics (3)GroupAllComputer Graphics (56)NationalityAllAustria (1)Brazil (1)Canada (4)France (3)Germany (4)India (1)Japan (1)Netherlands (1)Portugal (1)Russia (1)Switzerland (2)Syria (1)Taiwan (1)United Kingdom (3)United States (33)Show ResultsBrowseCompareSelect all 56Alex KrizhevskyComputing MethodologiesAlexey PajitnovComputing MethodologiesAllan AlcornComputing MethodologiesBen MildenhallComputing MethodologiesBob SproullComputing MethodologiesChandrajit BajajComputing MethodologiesCharles GeschkeComputing MethodologiesDaniel ThalmannComputing MethodologiesDavid C.
