All Discrete-Event and Physical System Modeling Languages

Languages for simulating events in time and for modeling physical systems made of many connected parts. Simula introduced objects and discrete event simulation in the 1960s, SystemC provides an event-driven simulation interface as a set of C++ classes and macros, and Modelica is an object-oriented, declarative language for the component-oriented modeling of mechanical, electrical and other complex systems.
