InterBase Public License

Software License

The InterBase Public License is the license recorded in this atlas for the InterBase database. The article on InterBase states that in early 2000 Borland announced that InterBase would be released under open-source terms and began negotiations to spin off a separate company to manage the product, and that the source code for InterBase version 6 was released under a variant of the Mozilla Public License in mid-2000. This entry is described from that passage of the article on InterBase, because the license has no article of its own, and it groups the systems whose recorded license is the InterBase Public License.
