Frameworks

The named software frameworks and major libraries that give programmers a reusable structure to build applications on top of, rather than a language to write in or a standalone system to run: web and application frameworks such as React, Angular, Django and Ruby on Rails, machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and platform frameworks such as .NET and Spring, each carried with its release history, maintaining organization and the language or languages it is built in. Belongs here: a named software framework or major library used to build other software, such as React, Django, TensorFlow or Spring. Does not belong here: the programming language itself, which is Programming Languages' subject, a standalone running system such as an operating system, network protocol or class of machine, which is Systems' subject, or the abstract programming concept or paradigm a framework may implement, which is Concepts' subject.
