All Local and Wireless Network Standards

The standards that connect computers and devices over short distances. Ethernet is a family of wired networking standards for local area networks, IEEE 802.11 specifies the medium access control and physical layer for wireless local area networks, and Bluetooth is a short-range wireless technology for exchanging data between fixed and mobile devices. Ethernet was designed for local area networks but is not limited to them.
