Vishwani D. Agrawal (born February 7, 1943) is an Indian-born electrical engineer and the James J. Danaher Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Auburn University, known for his work in electronic testing and VLSI design and as a co-founder of the International Conference on VLSI Design in 1985. He previously held positions at Bell Labs, Rutgers University, TRW and IIT Delhi, and has served as founding editor in chief of the Journal of Electronic Testing since 1990. Agrawal has published more than 350 papers, co-authored five books, holds thirteen US patents, and was elected a Fellow of both IEEE and ACM.
