Fatmah Baothman is a Saudi Arabian computer scientist who is the first woman in the Middle East to earn a doctorate in artificial intelligence. She is the board president for the Artificial Intelligence Society and has worked more than 25 years as an assistant professor at King Abdulaziz University's Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, where she established the women's department that became the foundation of the university's Computer Science College and was its first teaching assistant faculty member.
