Zoubin Ghahramani

Zoubin Ghahramani is a British-Iranian machine learning researcher, vice president of research at Google DeepMind and professor of information engineering at the University of Cambridge, known for foundational contributions to probabilistic and Bayesian approaches to machine learning, including Bayesian nonparametric models and approximate variational inference algorithms that make probabilistic learning practical at large scale. He has published more than 300 papers and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 2015.
