Ed Colligan is an American businessman, born March 4, 1961, best known as president and CEO of Palm, Inc. until Hewlett-Packard acquired the company in 2010. He led the marketing campaign that launched the Palm family of personal digital assistants and smartphones, and earlier served as vice president of strategic and product marketing at Radius Corporation before becoming president and chief operating officer of Handspring ahead of its 2003 merger with Palm. Colligan earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Oregon in 1983.
