Brent Waters

Security And Privacy

Brent R. Waters is an American computer scientist specializing in cryptography and computer security, working at the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his PhD from Princeton University in 2004 under Edward Felten and Amit Sahai, with a thesis on cryptographic algorithms for privacy in an age of ubiquitous recording. He received the ACM Grace Murray Hopper Award in 2015.
