Mario Szegedy

Mario Szegedy is a Hungarian and American computer scientist, born 1960, professor of computer science at Rutgers University. He received his PhD in computer science in 1989 from the University of Chicago after completing his dissertation Algebraic Methods in Lower Bounds for Computational Models, and he held a Lady Davis Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1989 to 1990, a postdoctoral position at the University of Chicago from 1991 to 1992, and a postdoctoral position at Bell Laboratories in 1992.
