Grigore Constantin Moisil (10 January 1906 - 21 May 1973) was a Romanian mathematician, computer pioneer, and titular member of the Romanian Academy, viewed as the father of computer science in Romania. His research was mainly in mathematical logic, algebraic logic, MV-algebra, and differential equations, and the IEEE Computer Society awarded him the Computer Pioneer Award posthumously in 1996.
