Andre Truong Trong Thi (30 January 1936 - 29 April 2005) was a Vietnamese-French computer engineer sometimes called a father of the personal computer, who co-created the Micral N microcomputer in 1973 with French engineer Francois Gernelle. Built around an Intel 8008 processor, the Micral N is considered one of the world's first commercial microcomputers, predating the MITS Altair by about two years. Truong was born in Cholon, Saigon, in French Indochina and died in Paris.
