Robert P. Colwell, known as Bob Colwell (born 1954), is an American electrical engineer who worked at Intel and later served as director of the Microsystems Technology Office at DARPA. He was the chief IA-32 architect on the Pentium Pro, Pentium II, Pentium III and Pentium 4 microprocessors, and was an Intel Fellow from 1995 until his retirement from Intel in 2000. He received the ACM-IEEE CS Eckert-Mauchly Award in 2005.
