Brian Behlendorf (born March 30, 1973) is an American software engineer and a founding member of the Apache Group, which developed the Apache HTTP Server and grew into the Apache Software Foundation, where he served as president for three years. He was appointed executive director of the Hyperledger blockchain project at the Linux Foundation in 2016 and later became chief technology officer of the Open Source Security Foundation. Behlendorf has also served on the boards of the Mozilla Foundation, Benetech and the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
