Harold Locke Hazen was an American electrical engineer who contributed to the theory of servomechanisms and feedback control systems. In 1924, under Vannevar Bush's direction, Hazen and Hugh H. Spencer constructed a prototype AC network analyzer, a special purpose analog computer for solving problems in interconnected AC power systems, and his collaborative work with Bush on the mechanical differential analyzer helped establish foundational concepts that influenced the development of early computers.
