Human-Centered Computing

John Gruber is a technology blogger and user interface designer, born in 1973, who co-created the Markdown markup language together with Aaron Swartz. Markdown is a lightweight plain-text syntax for writing formatted text that is converted to HTML. Gruber writes the Apple enthusiast blog Daring Fireball and hosts its accompanying podcast, The Talk Show, both of which are widely read among people who follow Apple products and the design of software interfaces.
